We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join Quanta Systems in White Plains.

Quanta Systems is a family-owned technology and finance engineering business based in White Plains. Founded in 2022, we run 3 locations in Greater NYC and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You'll design and build the harder parts of the product: leading technical design for new features, writing and reviewing production code daily, and improving reliability, performance, and test coverage in the systems you own. You'll break large projects into shippable increments, debug gnarly production incidents to root cause, mentor intermediate engineers through code review and pairing, and push back constructively when a proposed design will not age well.

You've shipped and operated production software for years and your code reviews make other people better. You weigh trade-offs explicitly, communicate designs clearly in writing, take ownership beyond your own tickets, and stay pragmatic about technical debt.

Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend or full-stack language and its ecosystem
- Experience designing, operating, and debugging production systems
- Eligibility to work in Canada
